Original rubbing #117 was taken from a 20" long Flounder.
This colored Gyotaku was done on a piece of kozo paper and was airbrush-highlighted with pearlized gold spots and pearl
highlights in the eyes. I caught this Flounder while fishing
aboard the Trinity with Capt. Mike "SouthPaw", April 2009.
This Flounder is currently single matted with a ivory (off white/very pale yellowish) acid-free mat to 24"w x 18"h and framed with a 1" black bamboo style wood frame.
