Brett's Studio - Fall 2009.
|
Female Mahi Mahi
|
Fall 2009 has been a slow season for inshore fishing - mostly due to bad weather. Fortunately, when the weather is bad it
gives me more time to work on my art. I've added and upgraded most of the pages on this site over the last few months so
take a moment to look around and don't forget to check out the new all original rubbings for sale in my
online gallery.
Some of the new fish rubbings I've released in the last month were of fish that were given to me by local anglers Steve Kendall,
Dr. Julie Ball and Capt. Skip Feller - many thanks to them for supporting my art. I would also like to thank Jill Murphy,
Charlie Glotfelty and Bill Clarke who have recently purchased my original Gyotaku. If you see a rubbing in my online
gallery that you like but think the price is more than you want to spend - please make me an offer.
If you're a fishermen and would like a rubbing done from a fish you've caught contact me for availability. Details on how to
prepair a fish for me to print are located on my F.A.Q. page.

Starting November 20, 2009 I will have a few of my framed originals on display in Virginia Beach at a new artist-owned and operated working
gallery called Artistic Creations which is located in Pembroke Mall (Independence & VA Beach Blvds), just down from the cinema. Artistic Creations features
work from top local artists including Randall Jordan and Norene Spencer and more...
The rubbings that you see in the photos below have just been added to the online gallery.
Left to right - Grey Triggerfish School, Female Mahi Mahi, Black Drum and Amberjack. I've discounted some of my Gyotaku for
the holidays - take a look through each of the four galleries
of my fish rubbings to see a wide variety of the fish species
in my collection. A new "SOLD" photo album show photos of some of the paintings i've sold.
